What Are Shaped CDs?

Shaped CD's are modified smaller versions of standard size CDs. Shaped CD's use the same technology as standard size cds. The big difference is reduced physical size and the ability to make a CD that really stands out.

Playing Shaped CDs

Shaped CDs play just like regular size CDs. Shaped CDs are meant for use in tray drives and top-loading drives only (what most PCs have). Please Note: Shaped CDs should not be used in slot or front-loading drives

What Can Be Put On A Shaped CD?
You can put any type of information on a shaped CD that you can put on a standard CD. However, with Shaped CDs being smaller physically then their standard CD counterpart, they also have less room for data storage.
Standard CD: 650-700 MBs of data storage
Shaped CD: 30-180 MBs of data storage
